A Westchester County police officer noticed a car touring southbound on the freeway shortly after eleven a.m. Monday that was needed by the Newburgh police in reference to an incident that occurred there on Sunday, stated Kieran O’Leary, spokesman for the Westchester police, in an e mail.

The officer pursued the lads within the car, however didn’t activate his lights and sirens as he awaited backup from further officers, O’Leary stated.

When the driving force within the car ultimately elevated its velocity, the officer activated his lights and sirens, O’Leary stated.

The driving force refused to tug over and tried to take the Tuckahoe Street exit, however went off the street and crashed, O’Leary stated.

The driving force and passenger fled from the car, O’Leary stated.
