The proprietor of economic and faculty bus corporations is dealing with seven felony fees associated to tax fraud. 

Salvatore DiPaolo, a sixty eight-yr-previous Scarsdale man, owns Service Transit Strains Inc., a Yonkers-based mostly for-rent business bus firm, and Bus Providers Corp., Service New York Excursions Corp. and Serbusco – all of that are situated in Yonkers. 

DiPaolo collected about $127,000 of tax withholdings from his staff and did not remit them to the IRS from 2011 to 2016, in response to District Lawyer Anthony Scarpino Jr. 

DiPaolo additionally “knowingly failed” to incorporate almost $37,000 value of revenue from Bus Providers Corp., Service New York Excursions Corp. and Serbusco in his private tax returns from 2012 to 2014, the district lawyer stated. 

He was charged on Thursday with: 

  • one rely of second-diploma grand larceny, a felony,
  • two counts of third-diploma legal tax fraud, felonies
  • one rely of fourth-diploma legal tax fraud, a felony
  • three counts of first-diploma providing a false instrument for submitting, felonies. 

DiPaolo pleaded not responsible to all costs. 

His bail was set a $25,000 and is scheduled to return to courtroom on Nov. 20. He faces as much as 15 years in state jail if discovered responsible.
