An Ossining lady, who admitted to stealing greater than $250,000 from her Mount Nice employer, was sentenced on Wednesday.
Erika Flores, forty six, was sentenced in Westchester County Courtroom to 1.5 to four.5 years in state jail.
She pleaded responsible in June to second-diploma grand larceny, a felony.
Flores, who spent about 10 years as the accounting clerk for Prospero Equipment Corp., which provides equipment to producers of wine, beer and other beverages. As the accounting clerk, Flores oversaw accounts payable for the company’s credit cards.
An investigation by Mount Pleasant police and the DA’s office revealed that she used more than $250,000 from the company credit cards for personal expenses, such as food, travel and clothing, and altered records to hide her personal charges.
