An SUV driver who struck and critically injured a forty four-yr-previous lady making an attempt to cross a Corona road remained at giant Monday, as investigators continued to hunt witnesses who could possibly determine the suspect.

Dora Bran of Riverside was hit by the black 2006 ML Collection Mercedes-Benz shortly earlier than 5 p.m. Friday, in response to Corona police.

The sufferer was trying to cross the intersection of Sixth Road and Vicentia Avenue when she was run over by the SUV,  whose driver was turning onto Vicentia Avenue from Sixth Road, Detective Andy Bryant stated.

Because the hit-and-run, investigators have obtained video from space safety surveillance cameras indicating that the suspect, believed to be a lady, fled the scene northbound on Vicentia Avenue and turned onto Cota Road, going towards Parkridge Road when she vanished from sight, Bryant stated.

The SUV’s airbags deployed, and the car sustained minor to average entrance-finish injury within the hit-and-run, Bryant stated.
