Collier sheriff’s deputies say they caught a shoplifter who frequents Goal shops in Collier and Lee counties after she tried to steal $seven hundred value of garments and child merchandise. 

Marjorie McIntire, forty five, of Naples, faces a grand theft cost after she tried to shoplift greater than fifty one gadgets about 2 p.m. on Nov. 10, in accordance with a Collier County Sheriff’s Workplace arrest report. 

A retailer loss prevention supervisor at the Goal off Immokalee Street at Tarpon Bay in North Naples noticed McIntire pushing a purchasing cart filled with unfastened gadgets towards the shop’s exit, the report stated.

She could not present a receipt when requested for one, the report stated. The supervisor requested her to go away the buying cart, and she or he left the shop. 

Deputies reported surveillance footage confirmed McIntire passing each register with out paying.

Two different Goal shops, one off Pine Ridge Street and one other on the Gulf Coast City Middle in Fort Myers, reported comparable incidents with McIntire, the report said.

She was discovered and arrested Friday at her residence.

McIntire advised authorities it wasn’t her intention to steal. She stated she was having points together with her husband and she or he did not know the place she was or what she was doing when she was strolling out of Goal that day, based on the report. 

She was additionally charged with driving with a revoked license and with retail petit theft in reference to the reported incident at Goal off Pine Ridge Street. Fees are pending in Lee County.
