MADISON — Anthony Blevins, forty three, of Windsor was charged Wednesday with two counts of public corruption allegedly dedicated when he labored at Oxford Federal Correctional Establishment, about ninety minutes north of Madison.
A federal grand jury for the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, indicted Blevins for allegedly bringing contraband into the jail within the type of unfastened tobacco and pornographic magazines in change for money bribes of $1,000 and $1,800 from two inmates.
If convicted, Blevins faces a most penalty of 15 years in jail on every rely. The fees are the results of an investigation by the U.S. Dept. of Justice’s Workplace of the Inspector Basic and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
