Tucson police questioning man in midtown homicide


One man was killed Wednesday in a capturing at a midtown house complicated. A suspect was detained and is being questioned by murder detectives.

Officers responded to the Sycamore Creek Flats at 1901 N. Wilmot Street, at about 12:30 p.m. for a report of a capturing, stated Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Division spokesman.

The neighborhood is south of East Grant Street and west of East Tanque Verde Street.

Dugan stated a person was driving within the complicated parking zone and noticed a person who appeared in misery sitting in a piece van. The person went to supply assist and noticed that it appeared the person was shot, stated Dugan.

As he was rendering assist, a lady driving within the parking zone additionally stopped to assist. Each pulled the person out of the van and gave assist and referred to as 911. Tucson Hearth Division paramedics and officers arrived about the identical time.
