Troopers arrest suspect in village shooting death

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – A 23-yr-previous southwest Alaska village man has been arrested within the capturing dying of a fellow resident.

Alaska State Troopers say Brian Fancyboy was arrested on suspicion of first-diploma homicide and weapons misconduct Thursday within the dying of 27-yr-previous Dennis Alick.

Each males are from Pilot Station, a Yukon River group 425 miles west of Anchorage.

A village public security officer advised troopers shortly after midnight Thursday that a man had been shot to dying and a suspect recognized.

Troopers flew to Pilot Station, and after consulting with prosecutors, arrested Fancyboy.

Troopers flew Fancyboy to Bethel. He’s jailed at Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Middle.
