Shoppers who bought an “Assorted Sweet Platter” at Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions or Fortunate shops have been urged Wednesday to examine the sale date and UPC code, with the shops issuing a voluntary recall because of potential salmonella contamination.

Based on the shops, the sweet is made with milk powder produced by Valley Milk Merchandise, which has voluntarily recalled the facility as a result of the potential of salmonella.

The affected Assorted Sweet Platter is 32 ounces and has a UPC code variety of 0041144 078586. The platter  is bought within the bakery areas of the 4 shops, and is packaged in a transparent, clamshell container. The recall consists of packages marked with “Promote Through” by means of July 10, 2017.

No sicknesses or accidents have been reported from the platter, which has additionally been faraway from cabinets.
