SWAT surrounds Sylmar home, neighbors evacuated: Homicide investigation


Police Monday surrounded a house in Sylmar after somebody reported that a murder had simply occurred there.

Officers have been despatched about four:50 p.m. to the house within the 13600 block of Gavina Avenue, in response to the Los Angeles Police Division.

They have been unable to make contact with the one that referred to as authorities or anybody else inside the house, which was surrounded pending additional investigation.

A SWAT staff was referred to as to the scene, some neighboring houses have been evacuated and different residents have been being stored from getting into the world.

As of about eight:30 p.m., police had not made entry into the house, in response to Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD’s Media Relations Part.
