A person suspected of creating threats towards regulation enforcement was taken into custody Thursday about two hours after officers arrived at a downtown Los Angeles condominium constructing to serve a warrant.
The Los Angeles Police Division acquired a request about 2 p.m. for help from the California Freeway Patrol in serving a warrant within the space of Sixth Road and Broadway, in response to the LAPD.
The person — suspected of creating felony threats towards regulation enforcement – – was taken into custody about four p.m., authorities stated.
It was unclear if he was armed.
Residents of the house constructing have been advised to shelter in place and Broadway was shut down between Fifth and Seventh streets and Sixth Road was closed between Spring and Hills streets, snarling visitors within the space, earlier than the person was taken into custody.
His identify was not instantly launched.
