ONTARIO >> Two animal-targeted organizations joined forces with police to bust what they suspected was a big, canine-preventing operation, it was introduced Wednesday.
The Inland Valley Humane Society and Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals joined Ontario police and code enforcement officers on a search of a property within the 1100 block of Vine Avenue in Ontario, in accordance with a Humane Society information launch that doesn’t state when the search occurred.
They “discovered a potential giant canine-preventing operation with 20 canine on the property” and made an arrest, the information launch states. No particulars concerning the arrest have been offered.
Additionally they “discovered paraphernalia related to canine-preventing — treadmills, weights and bungee cords — on the property.”
Twenty canine, together with one with an untreated damaged leg, have been taken to the Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA to be evaluated and cared for, the information launch states.
