RAMAPO – A Suffern man has been arrested and recognized because the robed burglar who was caught on digital camera breaking into an Airmont house over the weekend, police stated.

Ramapo police stated they charged the 26-yr-previous with second-diploma housebreaking, a felony, for breaking into a home early Saturday. To help their investigation, they had released surveillance video of the suspect, who was seen in a robe climbing through a kitchen window.

Police, who have not yet released the man’s name, said he was arraigned in Ramapo Town Court and is due in Airmont Village Court soon. He was released on $25,000 bail.
