A sixteen-yr-previous boy faces a felony cost.

NEW ROCHELLE – A sixteen-yr-previous boy has been arrested after New Rochelle police stated he threatened to “shoot up” Salesian Excessive Faculty.

The New Rochelle resident and Salesian scholar was arrested this week and charged with making a terroristic menace, a felony, stated police, who didn’t launch his identify.

Police stated they have been notified on Wednesday that on Friday, Oct. 6, the boy made threatening remarks to a fellow scholar at Salesian, an all-boys Catholic faculty situated at 148 E. Essential St. The varsity was closed Thursday and  in the present day as officers investigated.

Police stated they discovered that the boy, who had already been suspended by the varsity’s administration, didn’t have entry to weapons. Police stated they arrested him after consulting with prosecutors.
