Daniel Monahan is accused of two thefts.

STONY POINT – A resident chased a person who stole from his automotive, and the suspect was caught hiding in a close-by park on Thursday, police stated.

Daniel Monahan, 20, faces costs stemming from thefts from two automobiles on the town, Stony Level police stated.

Monahan, a Stony Level resident, was noticed rummaging via a automotive in a driveway on Lewis Drive round four a.m. Thursday, police stated. A lady who lives within the residence referred to as police and stated her husband was chasing the suspect on foot.

Police stated they then discovered Monahan hiding in close by Laurel Park. Monahan is accused of stealing property, together with a telephone charger, from the automotive on Lewis Drive, and police stated he then admitted to stealing jewellery and a pockets, together with bank cards, from a automotive on Spruce Drive on Wednesday.

Monahan was charged with fourth-diploma grand larceny and two counts of fourth-diploma felony possession of stolen property, felonies, and misdemeanor counts of petty larceny and fifth-diploma felony possession of stolen property.

Monahan was arraigned in Stony Level City Courtroom and launched. He’s due again on Jan. sixteen.
