South Tucson police working two possible shots fired calls, 1 man hurt


South Tucson cops have been working two potential photographs fired incidents Friday night time on South Sixth Avenue during which one man was discovered injured at a quick-meals restaurant.

Within the first incident, officers responded to Sixth Avenue and East twenty ninth Road, for a report of an injured individual, stated Police Chief Michael Ford.

A McDonald’s restaurant is at that nook.

Officers discovered a person with a head damage and the person was handled by paramedics and brought to a hospital.

“We’ve got not confirmed his accidents are associated to gunshots,” Ford stated.

When officers have been responding to the primary name, there have been reviews of photographs fired in a parking zone at Martinez Funeral Chapel at 2580 S. Sixth Ave., stated Ford. The chapel is close to East thirty sixth Road.

“We’re treating it as an lively scene, and there have been no reviews of any accidents,” stated Ford shortly after 9 p.m.

He stated individuals have been being escorted out of the chapel one after the other.
