Sheriff's deputies shoot, injure suspect on Tucson's south side

A suspect was shot within the arm by a Pima County Sheriff’s deputy in a Saturday afternoon capturing on Tucson’s south aspect, authorities stated.

The incident befell within the 4400 block of West Irvington Street, close to South Camino de Oeste, stated Deputy Cody Gress, a sheriff’s division spokesman.

Two deputies have been concerned, however neither was injured.

The suspect was taken to an area hospital with accidents which might be believed to be non-life threatening, Gress stated.
