Riverside County firefighters hospitalized, sickened by carbon monoxide

Three county firefighters have been hospitalized Sunday for publicity to carbon monoxide fuel at an condo constructing with a pure fuel drawback.

Firefighters have been dispatched at 12:forty two a.m. to the Tuscany Hills Flats within the 21000 block of Field Springs Street on a report of a carbon monoxide alarm going off in one of many flats.

“Firefighters arrived on scene and observed a slight odor of fuel inside the condominium. They requested the Southern California Fuel Firm, one ambulance and a hazardous supplies response to the incident,” stated April Newman of the Riverside County Hearth Division.

Three firefighters from the primary-arriving crew have been hospitalized, and their medical situation was not instantly disclosed.

The individual contained in the unit evacuated when the carbon monoxide alarm went off and later declined medical assist, and the hazard was declared over after two hours.
