HILLCREST – A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in 2012, police said.
Kleber Toaza-Guasco was arrested at a Hillcrest house on Friday, Ramapo Detective Sgt. Brian Corbett said Tuesday. Spring Valley police arrested Toaza-Guasco based on a Ramapo arrest warrant.
“He was suspect from the beginning,” Corbett said.
The arrest warrant for Toaza-Guasco was issued after the stabbing at a Monsey business, police said.
Police did not provide details about the stabbing. Messages left with Spring Valley police were not returned.
Toaza-Guasco was being held on $500,000 bail in the county jail on a felony count of second-degree attempted murder, Corbett said.
