Police, CHP chase car thief from downtown LA to Riverside

A person was in custody after main police on a an hour-lengthy chase Friday night that started in downtown Los Angeles and ended close to downtown Riverside.

The chase started at 9:fifty six p.m. on South Central Avenue and East Seventh Road, in accordance with Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Division’s Media Relations Division.

Herrera stated the car was believed to be stolen and KCAL9 reported the chase started when the Chevrolet Astro van went via a cease signal.

California Freeway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig stated CHP was referred to as to help within the chase about 10:15 p.m. on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Nogales Road within the Business space.

The driving force surrendered on the westbound Riverside (ninety one) Freeway in Riverside, based on stories from the scene.

Nobody was reported to be injured within the chase.
