Police arrested a forty seven-yr-previous Bronx man for the crime on Wednesday.

A Pelham man was fatally stabbed Tuesday night time after a battle that apparently stemmed from him giving some strangers the center finger.

Billy Sierra, 25, was stabbed within the torso after a battle within the neighborhood of Eastchester Place and Hollers Avenue within the Bronx at simply earlier than 7 p.m., New York Metropolis police stated.

Juan Garcia, forty seven, of the Bronx was arrested Wednesday and charged with homicide 2, manslaughter and legal possession of a weapon, police stated.

Garcia was apparently in front of his home at Eastchester Place with a group of other people when a Honda drove by at a high rate of speed. A member of Garcia’s group was said to have told the car to slow down, then a passenger in the Honda gave them the finger.

Garcia and two other men hopped into a car and drove around to find the Honda and its passengers. They apparently found the passengers near Hollers Avenue and when someone in Garcia’s group asked who had given the finger, Sierra appears to have taken responsibility.

A physical altercation ensued and Garcia stepped out of his vehicle and stabbed Sierra. Garcia then drove away.

Sierra was taken by ambulance to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
