Two Brooklyn residents face felony expenses.

CLARKSTOWN – Police stated one officer was kicked, two suspects have been arrested and one other one is on the unfastened after greater than $2,000 value of clothes was stolen from the Palisades Middle mall in West Nyack on Friday.

Two Brooklyn residents have been accused of stuffing $2,615 value of males’s clothes right into a “booster bag” at Lord & Taylor and resisting arrest. Jayquan Nash, 27, and Jackie Whitehead, 24, face felony expenses.

Clarkstown police stated they’re in search of one other man who was a part of the theft. Officers responded to the shop round 5 p.m. Friday after an worker reported the trio filling the “booster bag,” which thieves sometimes line with aluminum foil to keep away from shops’ safety detectors.

Police stated the three suspects have been leaving the shop as officers arrived. An worker tried to cease the person who was holding the bag, however he threw the bag on the worker and ran away, police stated.

That suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, who was sporting a brown and inexperienced jacket and pink pants with white stripes.

Nash and Whitehead have been arrested on the scene. Whitehead is accused of violently battling officers who tried to put her in a cell, together with kicking an officer within the knee.

The officer was handled at Nyack Hospital for the damage.

Nash was charged with fourth-diploma grand larceny and fourth-diploma legal possession of stolen property, each felonies, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Whitehead was charged with fourth-diploma grand larceny, resisting arrest and second-diploma assault, a felony.

Nash and Whitehead have been arraigned in Clarkstown City Courtroom and are due again at present. They’re being held on the Rockland County jail on $20,000 bail.
