A 23-yr-previous Anaheim man driving a motorbike was killed Sunday in a two-car collision in Van Nuys, authorities stated.
It occurred about 10:20 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway at Victory Boulevard, Los Angeles Hearth Division spokeswoman Margaret Stewart stated.
David S. Harrison was pronounced lifeless on the scene, Stewart stated.
Harrison was heading north on the 405 about 50 miles per hour on his motorbike, when he swerved to keep away from a Prius within the quantity four lane and slammed into the rear of a Hyundai Sonata within the quantity 5 lane, the California Freeway Patrol stated.
The motorbike then veered onto the freeway’s proper shoulder and crashed right into a guard rail, ejecting Harrison from the cycle. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
Two individuals within the Prius sustained minor accidents and have been handled on the scene.
