Anchorage Police are investigating an assault with a hammer that occurred early Monday morning close to downtown.
Police have been referred to as to the 800 block of Karluk Road round 2:30 Monday morning on studies of somebody bleeding from the top.
Officers discovered that a number of individuals have been concerned in a verbal altercation which escalated into bodily violence; one man grabbed a hammer and struck one other man within the head, in response to authorities.
The sufferer, who has not but been recognized, was taken to the hospital with accidents police described to be life threatening.
Alcohol is believed to be an element, police say.
Whereas no costs have been filed, Anchorage Police say they’re not in search of any suspects in connection to the crime, and the investigation is ongoing.
