Man gets 76 years for beating National Park Service employee


BISBEE — A person convicted of tried homicide and different crimes within the beating of a Nationwide Park Service employee in southern Arizona has been sentenced to seventy six years in jail.

The Sierra Vista Herald stories that Gil Gaxiola was sentenced Monday in Cochise County Superior Courtroom on convictions stemming from the Aug. 28, 2013 beating of a employee at Chiricahua Nationwide Monument.

The sufferer was discovered unconscious in a toilet close to the Faraway Ranch Trailhead affected by head trauma.
