Man dies in fiery Tujunga apartment blaze

One man was killed in a fireplace in a primary-flooring unit of a Tujunga condominium constructing, authorities stated.

The hearth was reported at 10:fifty five p.m. at 7053 Greeley Road, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Hearth Division stated.

It took 34 firefighters sixteen minutes to place out the flames confined to 3 rooms of the condo within the 26-unit, virtually 20,000-sq.-foot constructing constructed in 1963, Humphrey stated.

The lifeless man was discovered within the burned condo, he stated.

A videographer on the scene stated a one other individual, presumably the person’s spouse, was transported to a hospital with minor burns.

The trigger is beneath investigation however witnesses stated there was some sort of explosion.
