YONKERS – A Queens man has been accused of stabbing a co-employee to demise at a Yonkers restaurant on Tuesday.

Yonkers police stated Francisco Smile Nicasio-Ramirez, 22, of Woodhaven stabbed fifty four-yr-previous Yonkers resident Rafael Pena with a kitchen knife at Dia & Noche, the place each males labored.

Police stated officers responded to the Spanish restaurant at 640 McLean Ave. at four:fifty two p.m. for a reported stabbing. Pena was taken to a hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.

The investigation revealed that a dispute broke out between Nicasio-Ramirez and Pena whereas they have been working on the restaurant, police stated, and have become bodily when Nicasio-Ramirez stabbed Pena within the stomach.

Police stated they discovered the kitchen knife used within the assault. Nicasio-Ramirez stayed on the scene and was arrested.

Nicasio-Ramirez is scheduled to be arraigned in Yonkers Metropolis Courtroom at present on a felony cost of first-diploma manslaughter.
