LA VERNE >> Police arrested a person Friday on suspicion of igniting a brush hearth that scorched about 50 acres in La Verne and close by unincorporated hillsides, officers stated.
Christian Joseph Romano, 18, of La Verne was booked on suspicion of arson following his arrest about four:20 p.m., in line with La Verne police officers and Los Angeles County reserving data.
He’s accused of igniting the Rodeo hearth, which broke out shortly earlier than three p.m. Sunday within the space of Briley Level Street and Williams Avenue, La Verne police Lt. Thomas Frayeh stated.
