La Crosse man charged with hate crime on city's North Side

A La Crosse man accused of harassing his neighbor with racial slurs was charged Monday with a hate crime. 

A person who lives in the identical constructing as Leslie Seashore on Caledonia Road advised police on Friday that Seashore for hours pounded on his door and shouted derogatory slurs, in accordance with the grievance filed in La Crosse County Circuit Courtroom.

The neighbor informed police that Seashore has been harassing him for a month.

Seashore, forty seven, swore at officers and used racial slurs earlier than calling 911 to complain that police have been at his door. He continued to swear at police throughout arrest. 

Prosecutors charged Seashore with disorderly conduct as a hate crime, a misdemeanor punishable by as much as one yr in jail.
