ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – A Palmer man and lady investigated for drug dealing after a youngster died of an overdose at their residence will serve federal jail phrases.
U.S. District Decide Sharon Gleason on Thursday sentenced forty one-yr-previous Tod Rodolph to 12 years in jail and fined him $30,000. Gleason sentenced 36-yr-previous Jessica Hopkins to 6 years, six months in jail.
The Drug Enforcement Administration launched an investigation in January 2016 after a 17-yr-previous boy died of a methamphetamine overdose at their residence.
Prosecutors say different teenagers awakened Rodolph when the boy was stricken however that Rodolph didn’t name for medical assist or drive the boy to a hospital as a result of he didn’t need police contact.
Prosecutors say proof didn’t point out that Rodolph or Hopkins provided the methamphetamine that killed the boy.
