A man faces expenses of vandalism and housebreaking at a Naples Jewish synagogue and preschool in October.

Michael J. Dami, 19, of East Naples and who was born in Kazakhstan, was charged with three felonies: housebreaking of a construction with injury in extra of $1,000; grand theft inflicting injury in extra of $1,000; and legal mischief of a spiritual facility inflicting injury in extra of $200.

Naples police detectives say on Oct. 19 they responded to Chabad of Naples and Naples Preschool of the Arts, 1789 Mandarin Street, in reference to a housebreaking. Chabad officers informed police somebody broke into the constructing between 7:20 p.m. Oct. 18 and seven a.m. Oct. 19.

Video surveillance confirmed a person shortly earlier than midnight Oct. 18 entered the power opening a door and leaving by 1:15 a.m. Oct. 19.
