Two hikers have been hoisted into a fireplace division helicopter after they turned stranded close to Satan’s Punch Bowl within the Angeles Nationwide Forest close to Palmdale amid a constructing winter storm.
Neither hiker was injured, in accordance with the Los Angeles County Hearth Division. They have been described solely as a male and a feminine,
Firefighters have been notified Wednesday that the pair was stranded and a rescue helicopter was despatched, a dispatcher stated.
The helicopter crew needed to deal with excessive winds and a constructing storm as they looked for the hikers, who have been situated at 6:25 p.m., he stated.
The hikers have been hoisted into the chopper and flown to floor models as more and more heavy rain and snow fell within the mountainous space, the hearth division reported.
