High school student shot in Reseda, lockdowns at two campuses

A highschool scholar was wounded Tuesday in a capturing in Reseda, prompting the lockdown of his campus and one other faculty a number of blocks away.

The capturing was reported about 12:50 p.m. within the 18400 block of Vanowen Road, close to Canby Avenue. The sufferer was hospitalized in secure situation, stated Sgt. Julie Spry of the Los Angeles Faculty Police Division.

She didn’t know the sufferer’s age however stated he was a scholar at Zane Gray Continuation Excessive Faculty, which is situated, together with Reseda Excessive Faculty, within the 18200 block of Kittredge Road, a number of blocks south of the capturing scene.

Each faculties have been briefly locked down as officers carried out a sweep of the campus, Spry stated.
