SOMERS — A Somers lady died of a heroin overdose final month, and authorities say they’ve arrested the person who bought her the lethal drug.

The 29-yr-previous lady overdosed at a house on the town on Dec. 20. Chris Demauro, a 30-yr-previous Mount Kisco resident with a earlier conviction for promoting heroin, bought her heroin earlier that day, state police allege.

The lady was pronounced lifeless at Northern Westchester Hospital, police stated. Police haven’t launched her identify, per their coverage to not launch the names of overdose victims.

Demauro was arrested in Somers on Dec. 21 and charged with third-diploma felony possession of a managed substance and driving whereas capability impaired by medicine, each felonies.
