Two males have been arrested on felony costs of housebreaking and grand theft after a deputy found them transporting a trailer loaded with quite a few giant bins out of Ave Maria at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, based on a Collier County Sheriff’s Workplace report.

Osvaldo Gutierrez, 28, of Miami, and Rafael Cruz, 28, of Clewiston, have been charged with housebreaking of an unoccupied construction and grand theft between $5,000 and $10,000 for the theft of kitchen cupboards valued at $7,000.

The report says the deputy stopped the pickup as a result of the trailer hooked up to the again didn’t have a license plate, in addition to there have been current burglaries within the space and the time of the day was odd to be transporting the load of cupboards.

A detective interrogated the 2 and discovered that Cruz was trying to get a contract tile job on the Ave Maria home underneath development, the report says, and that he returned to the job website with Gutierrez and knew concerning the cupboards inside. They entered the house with out permission and loaded the cupboards onto the trailer, the report says. 

The detective contacted a superintendent with the house’s builder, CC Houses, who confirmed that the cupboards had simply arrived Friday and belonged to them.
