It took 37 Los Angeles firefighters on the land and sea 50 minutes to place out a fireplace in a docked fishing trawler, authorities stated Sunday.
The blaze was contained in the engine room of the 70-foot fishing trawler Cape Blanco, which was taking over water, Humphrey stated.
Firefighters managed to maintain the vessel afloat by pumping out the water, he stated.
It was reported at 9:01 p.m. Saturday at 799 Tuna Road, in response to Los Angeles Hearth Division spokesman Brian Humphrey.
There have been no accidents, and officers didn’t speculate a few explanation for the blaze.
