A lady suspected of utilizing a pretend assault rifle to rob a Pasadena restaurant was arrested, police stated Friday.
The theft was reported about 7:50 p.m. Thursday on the Fortunate Boy Drive- in at 531 E. Walnut St., stated Pasadena Police Lt. Tracey Ibarra.
Officers responded inside a minute and have been flagged down by clients who stated the lady used a rifle to rob the restaurant earlier than operating north towards Oakland Avenue, Ibarra stated.
Throughout a search of the world, the lady emerged from some bushes close to Oakland Avenue and Corson Road, a few block from the restaurant, and she or he took off operating however was taken into custody shortly after.
Officers recovered the weapon, which was found to be a BB gun manufactured to seem like an assault rifle, in addition to the cash, Ibarra stated.
