Esteban Santiago back in court for bail hearing

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – –

The person suspected of fatally capturing 5 individuals and wounding six others at a Florida airport is due again in federal courtroom.

A listening to is about for Tuesday morning in Fort Lauderdale on whether or not 26-yr-previous Esteban Santiago could possibly be launched on bail. Prosecutors have stated they need Santiago held in custody till trial.

Santiago might get the demise penalty if convicted of federal airport violence and firearms fees that resulted in demise. He’s accused of a Jan. 6 capturing rampage at a Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Worldwide Airport baggage declare space.

The FBI says that after Santiago flew from Anchorage, Alaska, to Fort Lauderdale, he took a 9mm handgun out of a checked gun field, loaded it in a toilet and emerged firing.

Santiago has but to enter a plea.
