An East Naples driver was arrested Saturday after deputies stated he hit and killed a thirteen-yr-previous boy, who was driving his bicycle, and failed to remain on the scene of the crash.

Pedro Silva-Diaz, 32, faces a felony cost of hit-and-run — failure to cease and stay at a crash involving critical bodily accidents — and a misdemeanor cost of driving with an expired driver’s license for greater than six months, based on a Collier County Sheriff’s Workplace arrest report.

He was booked on the Naples Jail Middle.

Investigators stated Silva-Diaz was driving a 2015 Toyota Tundra pickup north on Lakewood Boulevard, approaching a cease signal at Estey Avenue in East Naples shortly earlier than eleven p.m. Saturday.

Colvin was on a purple bicycle, driving residence, the report states. He was flown to Tampa Common Hospital the place he later died.
