A Covina man is in custody for allegedly making an attempt to rob a Glendora financial institution, police reported Monday.
Samuel Castro Jr., forty three, was arrested on Friday and booked on suspicion of tried financial institution theft, in line with the Glendora Police Division.
Castro was being held on $50,000 bail, and was anticipated to be arraigned Tuesday on the Citrus courthouse, police stated.
The crime occurred on March 10 at a Financial institution of America department at 843 E. Arrow Freeway. Police stated the suspect used a notice and left with out acquiring any cash.
On Friday, authorities arrested Castro as he was leaving his residence. Police obtained a search warrant for Castro’s residence, and allegedly discovered proof linking him to the tried theft, police stated.
