CORTLANDT – A Cortlandt man has been accused of firing a shotgun during a confrontation at his home on Monday.
State police arrested Glenn Stieglitz, 22, around 4 p.m. on Kings Ferry Road in Montrose after troopers responded to his home for a report of shots fired.
Stieglitz had a confrontation with people at his home, where he took out a shotgun and fired one shell, police said. No one was injured.

Stieglitz was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and misdemeanor counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and illegal discharge of a firearm.
He was arraigned in Cortlandt Town Court and is due back Thursday. He is being held at the Westchester County jail on $10,000 bail.
