VALLEY COTTAGE — A Bronx lady faces felony fees for allegedly utilizing fraudulent identification to money a verify on the Chase financial institution department on Route 303, Clarkstown police stated Tuesday.

Maria Ruiz, fifty one, used a fraudulent Connecticut driver’s license as a type of identification to money the verify earlier than 1 p.m Monday, police stated. Police spoke with the financial institution supervisor earlier than arresting Ruiz.

Officers charged Ruiz with first-diploma id theft, second-diploma legal possession of a cast instrument, and fourth-diploma tried grand larceny.

Ruiz was being held within the county jail on $15,000 bail after being arraigned earlier than a Clarkstown justice. She is scheduled to seem once more in courtroom Wednesday.
