Police said they were called about the theft as it was taking place at 1:52 p.m. on Dec. 7, and officers then found Key, Jaquez and Suarez in a gray Audi at the corner of Pondfield Road and The Byway.

Stolen packages and a FedEx uniform were found in the car, police said, and the three men were arrested. Police said they then found out that Key worked as a contractor helping FedEx Ground drivers with deliveries.

The investigation revealed that another FedEx Ground driver’s helper had provided the other three men with the location and time of delivery of the package to Courseview Road, police said. The trio caught in the Audi had followed the FedEx worker’s truck to that house, police said.

Police said Yonkers detectives helped them arrest that FedEx worker at the company’s distribution center at 10 Hermann Place in Yonkers on Dec. 9. He was charged and released.

Key, 25, Jaquez, 22, and Suarez, 19, were taken to the Westchester County jail on $25,000, $10,000 and $5,000 bail, respectively, but they have all posted bail since then.

All four men were arraigned in Bronxville Village Court and are due back on Jan. 3.
