A body was found in a secluded area near the Bedford-Pound Ridge line around 7 p.m. on Saturday, New York State Police confirmed.

Police have remained tight lipped about the incident but said it is being investigated as a crime.

The body was found at 496 Long Ridge Road, which is blocked by police tape, but state police said the victim was not a resident of the home.

Long Ridge Road, which is one way in each direction, was lined with Pound Ridge police and state troopers, as of 11 p.m. Saturday night. They’re allowing traffic to go thru the area at a reduced speed.
