Naples police are investigating after Abby Wambach, a former U.S. soccer participant, reported that unknown suspects burglarized her automotive, which was parked in entrance of her Naples house.
Officers responded to Wambach’s house on Crayton Street at eight:23 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a report of grand theft auto, auto housebreaking, grand theft and legal mischief, in response to a Naples police report.
Wambach and her spouse Glennon Doyle Melton informed police that an unknown suspect entered Wambach’s car, parked within the driveway of the residence, the report states.
Wambach and Doyle Melton stated they didn’t give anybody permission to enter the car and indicated that they needed to press fees, in accordance with the report.
Crime scene investigators responded to the scene and processed the automotive for “potential latent fingerprint proof,” the report states.
