PHOENIX — Grand Canyon College says two of the three younger individuals killed in a fallacious-means wreck on Phoenix freeway early Friday morning have been college students on the personal Christian faculty and that they have been in separate automobiles.
Grand Canyon Public Relations Government Director Bob Romantic says one of many college students killed within the crash was the person driving the fallacious-method car on Interstate 17 and the opposite scholar killed was one of many younger ladies within the second car concerned within the wreck.
Romantic stated the college wasn’t releasing any details about the scholars out of concern for the privateness of their households.
Spokesman Raul Garcia of the Arizona Division of Public Security stated beforehand the flawed-approach driver was a 22-yr-previous man driving a automotive with Colorado license plates and the ladies have been ages 19 and 20 and apparently sisters. Garcia stated the ladies have been in a automotive with North Carolina plates.
The crash website in northwest Phoenix is about 10 miles from the Grand Canyon campus in west Phoenix.
Northbound Interstate 17 in northwest Phoenix has reopened after being closed about six hours due to the crash.
Southbound visitors on southbound was unaffected.
