TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Police arrested a person late Tuesday and stated they may cost him with homicide in a string of killings which have terrorized a neighborhood of Tampa.
Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan introduced at a information convention that Howell Emanuel Donaldson, 24, can be charged with 4 counts of first diploma homicide.
Police detained Donaldson earlier Tuesday after a tip that he had a gun at a McDonald’s restaurant.
Residents and police had been on edge since Oct. 9, when 22-yr-previous Benjamin Mitchell was shot to dying. Two days later, 32-yr-previous Monica Hoffa, was slain. And on Oct. 19, Anthony Naiboa, 20, was killed after taking the mistaken bus residence from his new job. On Nov. 14, 60-yr-previous Ronald Felton was killed.
All the October victims have been both getting on or off a metropolis bus, or have been at a bus cease once they have been shot, police stated.
Dugan stated the division had acquired greater than 5,000 ideas. He thanked those that referred to as within the tip that led to Donaldson’s arrest. No additional info was offered about Donaldson.
