A police operation discovered two Westchester shops, one in every of which was Rocky’s Deli in Somers, bought alcohol to an undercover minor, in accordance with authorities. 

On Friday, state police carried out an underage consuming initiative concentrating on the sale of alcohol to minors, according to the state police website. 

An underage male worked undercover with the state police team and attempted to purchase alcohol from 10 establishments in the towns of Somers, North Salem, Pound Ridge, and Lewisboro, according to police. 

The following two establishments, according to police, sold alcoholic beverages to the undercover minor:

  • Rocky’s Deli in Somers
  • Pound Ridge Wine and Spirits in Pound Ridge  

The clerks at each store were charged with New York ABC Law violations of prohibited sales of alcoholic beverages to a minor, police said.

The following establishments refused to sell alcohol to the undercover minor, according to police: 

  • Scott’s Corner Market in Pound Ridge
  • South Salem Wine and Liquor in Lewisboro
  • Cameron’s Deli Cross River in Lewisboro
  • Somers Mobil Mart in Somers
  • Somers Sunoco in Somers
  • A Shell gas station in North Salem
  • Salem Liquors in Lewisboro
  • Vista Market in Lewisboro
